The first of an extensive series of comically large-eyed animals that stemmed from a doodle in my 4th grade class. Drawn by yours truly, colored by my dad – the beginning of my exploration into the “serious” art world and first collaborative works.
Hi, my name is Nadine Walker, but I go by the much more commonly Gilmore-Girls-associated name, Rory… well, Rorie*. I grew up in Los Angeles, California (the city of Angels, but, go Dodgers!). I love traveling and my favorite place to be is at the beach with my feet in the sand, breeze in my hair, and sipping on a coconut… kidding, but only a little. I would say my number 1 motivation in life is my cats, and maybe my love for art/design as well, but mostly my cats.
Sometimes I feel like that mouse that I drew; wide-eyed and small when it comes to the advertising industry. Yet, something about it is more exciting and more full of opportunity than the Disneyland trips I took when I was younger. If only advertising were as exciting as Dole whip, though.
